SABIRAH Collection 1.7: A Nod to Dominique Devereux's Timeless Elegance

In a realm where style converges with mindfulness, SABIRAH distinguishes itself as a demi-couture brand for modest wear that transcends societal boundaries. Conceived by Deborah Latouche, a visionary Stylist and Creative Director, SABIRAH's Collection 1.7 takes inspiration from the influential Dominique Devereux of the 1980s TV show Dynasty.

Deborah Latouche's admiration for Dominique Devereux stems not only from her on-screen presence but also from the groundbreaking work of Diahann Carroll, the e first person of colour to appear on Dynasty. Carroll's influence on marginalized women in show business paved the way for representation, and Latouche pays homage to this trailblazing spirit through her latest collection.

The colour palette for this collection is a refined fusion of peaches and creams, juxtaposed with rich hues of tobacco, silver, and gold. Antique jewels are strategically incorporated to accentuate impeccably cut silhouettes, exuding the strength of Devereux's power dressing. Piers Atkinson's powdery pink-feathered hats and delicate lace eyepieces add a touch of vintage glamour, ensuring the models radiate extravagance and panache.

SABIRAH Collection 1.7 is a celebration of timeless elegance, paying homage to Dominique Devereux's influential style while championing inclusivity and empowerment. Through conscious design and a commitment to craftsmanship, Deborah Latouche continues to redefine modest wear and leave an enduring impact on the world of fashion.
