A Blooming Winter
There's a Spring in the Winter of Yanina Couture. The Russian designer's latest fall-winter 24/25 collection, showcased during Paris Haute Couture Week, captures the power and fragility of flowers.
This duality, which has inspired many artists, fuels the designer’s vision. Nature shows us its strength, sensitivity, and fragility, yet also its power. In a sometimes grey world, Yanina chose to bring colour. Yes, we can colour our garden, and that is transformative.
The Yanina woman is as delicate as a flower but as strong as a rock. She loves life; she is life! She is unique, singular, and yet full of plurality. She is as intense as the fragrance of flowers!
The collection is full of colours, sparkles, movement, and energy. According to Yanina, "When I think about the characteristics of my collection, I think of a woman who enjoys every second of her life. She feels young no matter her age. She believes, dreams, and desires a lot. She is full of ideas and wishes. She believes everything is possible."
The models, or goddesses of nature, seemed to float within the designer’s garden, thanks to modern technology used by Yanina's team, working with different textures, fabric applications, and the illusion of bas-relief. The images seemed alive! The floral embroidery was a true feast for the eyes.
Skirts for Them!
Skirts were key pieces in this collection, with various shapes from trumpet, new look, flippy to A-line. The models danced between sensuality and empowerment.
Our garden shone with capes, leggings, and silver accessories. Capes were another strong point of the collection. Yes, we are great heroines who resist and fight in the name of love.
Speaking of love, "la mariée" appears as a bouquet of white flowers, symbolizing peace, purity, and loyalty, illuminating everyone in her path.
A Gift for the Universe!
The famous quote by Christian Dior, “After women, flowers are the most divine creations,” aligns perfectly with Yanina’s vision for this collection. Strongly inspired by this idea, one of the summer flowers blooming in Yanina Couture’s winter is sunflowers, appearing in 3D XXL form. They seek the sun and light, just as the designer aims to illuminate these women’s stories!
Yanina Couture was born in 1993 in an old Russian city, with a huge desire to create, showcase, and elevate feminine strength and beauty. Thirty years later, Yanina remains steadfast in its mission and continues to blossom!
